It’s no wonder, then, that the company lovingly helmed by Ryan Emmons has grown over 4,000% since its inception in 2012. That stratospheric rise has catapulted Waiakea Water to number 414 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America. Their achievements will be honored on October 10 at the 2017 Inc. 500 conference in California. Of this accomplishment, Emmons says, “We have been dreaming about being on this exclusive list since Waiakea was founded. I am incredibly proud of our achievements, and I am looking forward to the future accomplishments and innovations of our brand.”
For all the success they have experienced, Waiakea still focuses on those unique characteristics which truly set them apart. A very important part of that is their work to provide access to clean water in Africa. Through a partnership with Pump Aid, their efforts have allowed over 1.35 million people in heavily economically disadvantaged areas across the continent to gain access to clean water and basic sanitation. Along with other initiatives, this has led to awards such as being named The Most Socially Responsible Company in North America Gold in 2015 by Best Biz Awards as well as receiving the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. We all know water is good for us, and it’s good to know there’s an option that’s good for the body AND good for the soul.
